The Senior Accountant will handle tasks including preparing monthly journal entries, reconciling general ledgers, allocating expenses, analyzing data trends, compiling internal and external financial reports, and creating quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Assist department with month, quarter and year end close
- Prepare journal entries/correcting entries
- Produce financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Reconciliations projects
- Help ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with NAIC Statutory guidance
- Assist in budgeting & forecasting work, perform variance analysis
- Refine processes, suggest and implement improvements
- Ad hoc duties as needed
