Reinsurance Accountant
Our client, a with a leading, private equity backed, provider of finality solutions for run-off portfolios and global program capacity for MGAs and their reinsurers in the Orlando, FL area.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage reinsurance agreements and claims for accuracy and completeness
- Analyze reinsurance contracts and ensure compliance with terms
- Prepare financial reports related to reinsurance transactions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on reinsurance matters
- Support audit and regulatory requirements related to reinsurance activities
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reinsurance accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
