A Leading Insurer is looking for a Digital Sales Manager to optimise performance across digital marketing channels, (search, social, video, display, etc), Affiliate partners, and Renewals

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES


Driving Sales

  • Optimise performance across digital marketing channels, (search, social, video, display, etc), Affiliate partners, and Renewals

  • Plan sales campaigns and make timely and required changes in the campaigns considering competition offerings, on-going CPA, product case size, etc

  • Work closely with product marketing team in suggesting and planning appropriate ATL/BTL campaigns to improve quotes by considering key factors like (reviewing past campaign performance, budget, sales promotion we plan to offer, etc)

  • Suggest campaigns for affiliate partners for GI products considering the past performance and with CPA models

  • Suggest monthly (at least 3) cross sell campaigns to increase sales across GI products with reduced CPA

Cost optimisation

  • Identify effective and low-cost lead generation campaigns for defined products

  • Explore more CPA based performance marketing channels

  • Identify ways and means to promote refer-a-friend program to acquire new business at lower CPA

  • Closely monitor contact center conversion across paid and direct channels. Ensure prioritisation on paid channels and direct channel leads, and optimise conversion across these channels

  • Work closely with cross sell manager to define cross sell requirements in the app for defined products

Achieve and maintain Renewal ratio

  • Review and customise renewal communications (e-mail, sms & calling scripts) basis renewal ratio across different segments & understanding key reasons for non-renewals. Requirements must be defined

  • Plan exclusive tactical campaigns for profitable segments and ensure execution of the same

  • Work closely with contact center manager to check on calling status on renewal leads, renewal rejections, etc. and decide next actions accordingly

  • Define renewal journey requirement via App for above mentioned products

  • Review and revisit discounts given across products and suggest required changes as per the take up rate and renewal ratio

Maintain SEO ranking & increase organic traffic

  • Review and optimise product page content basis suggestion from COE SEO manager

  • Own blog calendar and ensure timely execution of all the blogs basis topic vetted and relevant from SEO perspective

  • Closely monitor GA data and initiate required actions basis insights ex: Increase in dropout rate of page, drop in average time spends per page, etc

  • Suggest A/B tasty test cases to test and learn things which will be useful from SEO perspective Ex: shifting blog section above FAQ section, etc

  • Work closely with in-house performance marketing team to make required upgrades/enhancements across pages from technical and UI stand point ex: URL changes, page speeds, Domain age, Mobile friendly, etc.

  • Use heat maps study to know customer behaviour on the page and make suggest necessary changes in the sequence and content of the product pages

Product pages and sales flow optimisation

  • Review and suggest required changes in all the product pages and sales journey with an intention to improve SEO ranking, quotes and sales conversion percentage

  • Use A/B tasty tool to suggest test cases and test and learn the impact of the changes

  • Work closely with contact center manager to know top queries around product and request update of the FAQ section accordingly

  • Work closely with product team to understand key product USP's and customer requirement basis for customer research and make required changes in the USP section and titles

  • Review and define event tracking across key sections in the sales journey including end of cross sell journey.

Campaign management & content review

  • Plan new sales campaign considering factors like target vs. actual status, average case size, CPA and competition offerings, looking at sales analysis of past campaigns from sales process manager.

  • Review sales messaging across platform home pages, product pages, emails, banners, sms, etc for all campaigns.

  • Suggest campaigns for affiliate platforms, which also includes exploring other initiatives like sponsored blogs, EDM campaigns, etc
