Business Analyst - Insurance (London Market)

The Opportunity:

The Business Analyst's role is to ensure that high quality product is delivered in the most efficient way to the customer through agile ways of working.

As a part of a product team, the Business Analyst will work with:

  • Product owners to ensure their goals are defined and understood
  • Developers to ensure that the customers' needs are met
  • Scrum Masters to remove impediments to delivery
  • The wider organisation on agility, agile ways of working and the benefits of such practices

Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Putting the Customer at the centre of the role with intimate understanding and anticipation of customer needs
  • Prioritising the delivery of IT services to best meet business requirements, and reprioritising based on the needs of the business
  • Owning the delivery as part of the team with a shared responsibility for the outcomes
  • Understanding the technology strategy to prioritise and align key outcomes
  • Sifting through large amounts of information and data to find the pertinent information trends and patterns
  • Refining large and complex issues into actionable problem statements

You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Experience of being a Business Analyst in a an Agile or DevOps environment
  • Professional qualification relevant to role
  • Knowledge of Commercial Insurance with focus on Sales and Underwriting activities
